Paris 2024 Media Information
Press accreditation
Written press and photographers
Each National Paralympic Committee (NPC) was allocated a limited number of press accreditations for issue to press organisations and/or freelancers within its own territory. Therefore, representatives of written and photographic press who wish to apply for press accreditation must contact the NPC within the territory where their organisation is based. Please click here to access the contact information for each NPC.
All photographers accredited for the Paralympic Games must sign the Photographer's Undertaking. The Paris 2024 Photographer's Undertaking will be published on this page at a later stage. For reference, please find here the Tokyo 2020 Photographer's Undertaking.
Press organisations with operations across multiple territories or those unable to request accreditation through an NPC should send their request to media.accreditation@paralympic.org from April 2023 and prior to 31 May 2023.
Non-rights-holding TV and radio broadcasters
Applications for accreditation from non-rights-holding TV and radio broadcasters (ENR) organisations will be managed directly through the IPC.
Deadline to request accreditation was 31 May 2023.
The IPC will contact each applicant and inform the status of their request by end of June 2023.
Please note that only news media outlets (TV and Radio) will have their application taken into consideration. ENR accreditations are limited in number and a request received by the IPC may be successful, partially successful or unsuccessful.
Successful ENR applicants will have to abide by the Radio and Television News Access Rules. They will be required to sign an agreement related to these Rules ahead of the Games in order to have their accreditation granted.
News Access Rules are designed to protect the exclusivity of broadcasters that have paid for rights while permitting fair access for ENRs to broadcast highlights for news purposes. The document clearly outlines the rules that apply to coverage by ENR organisations, as well as venue access rules and restrictions within the host city and country.
Please note that accredited ENRs are not entitled to film or record audio in any competition venue or the Paralympic Village. In these specific venues they shall work as written press journalists.
Paris 2024 News Access Rules will be published on this page at a later stage.
All updates on the press accreditation process for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will be published on this page, so we advise to check it regularly.
