IBSA Goalball Worlds schedule announced
The 2014 IBSA Goalball World Championships will take place from 30 June – 5 July in Espoo, Finland. 05 Feb 2014
The Japanese women’s goalball team celebrate their sudden-death victory against Sweden at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
At the last World Championships, held in 2010 in Sheffield, Great Britain, Lithuania won the men’s title and China won the women’s title.
The full schedule for the 2014 IBSA Goalball World Championships has been published, and there will be a total of 102 matches during the event, which runs from 30 June – 5 July in Espoo, Finland.
The matches will be played in two venues in Espoo, the Sport Hall Tapiola and Sport Hall Summa.
The first four days will be dedicated to round-robin matches, with the quarter-finals and semi-finals scheduled for 4 July. The medal matches will be played on 5 July.
