Burundi's national para-sport competition was AGITOS Foundation in Rwanda in February 2012 and Senegal in December 2012.

All members of the National Paralympic Committee of Burundi and a large crowd enjoyed the high-level sport, including sitting volleyball and goalball.
The Gitega Youth Centre, in collaboration with the National Paralympic Committee of Burundi organised a national competition on 20 April that included 17 teams from all over the country.
