SALT LAKE CITY 2034

Thirty-two years after staging the 2002 Games, Salt Lake City-Utah will become only the second location after Innsbruck, Austria, to stage the Paralympic Winter Games for a second time.

In 2002, Salt Lake City made history as it was the first time both the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games had the same single Organising Committee.

With the ambition to extend the transformative benefits of Salt Lake City 2002 to a new generation, Salt Lake City 2034 will offer an exceptional experience for athletes and visitors. The vision for 2034 is to elevate communities, sport and the Games experience. The Games aim to foster unity in the community by embracing diversity, equity and inclusion and by sharing a common purpose to welcome the world.

The venue masterplan for Salt Lake City-Utah sees every competition venue located within an hour of the Paralympic Village at the University of Utah Campus. Of the proposed venues, all are existing or temporary.

The Salt Lake City-Utah 2034 Paralympic Winter Games will take place 10-19 March 2034.
