Beijing, China - The 51st meeting of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Governing Board (GB) concluded yesterday in Beijing, China, two days before the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. The focus during the two days of meetings was the upcoming Games, with an official update on the final preparations from BOCOG's President Liu Qi.
Beijing, China - Today, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has officially confirmed that a minimum of eight hours per day of live commentated coverage of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games will be broadcasted onIPC's internet TV channel ParalympicSport.TV. Beijing Olympic Broadcasting Co., Ltd (BOB), host broadcaster of the Paralympic Games, will provide live signals of twelve Paralympic sports including Athletics, Boccia, Cycling (Track), Football 7-a-side, Judo, Table Tennis, Swimming, Volleyball (Sitting), Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Fencing, Wheelchair Rugby, and Wheelchair Tennis.
