Bonn, Germany - In 2009, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) will for the third time be honouring members of the Paralympic Family and those who contribute directly to Paralympic Games and the Paralympic Movement with Paralympic Awards, which are proudly partnered by IPC's Gold Patron Allianz.

With the new IPC Anti-Doping Code being effective from 1 January 2009, and in compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code (WADC), the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has revised its Registered Testing Pool (RTP), which purpose is to implement an efficient Out-of-Competition Testing programme.
