NPC Finland to hold Para-School Day Tour
Students and teachers will have the chance to meet several Sochi 2014 Paralympians during the month of May. 29 Apr 2014
Finland's Matti Suur-Hamari recorded times of 39.29 and 39.96 in his two best runs on the final day of the IPCAS Snowboard World Cup in La Molina, Spain.
The fourth edition of the event will include information sessions on the Paralympic Movement and will allow students to try out some para-sports.
Finland’s Para-School Day Tour will reach nearly 3,000 students and teachers from 6-22 May, as the Finnish Paralympic Committee conducts a tour through schools in 10 locations throughout the country.

Several Sochi 2014 participants will be among the Paralympians visiting schools, including snowboarder Matti Suur-Hamari, alpine skier Katja Saarinen, cross-country skiers Maija Jarvela and Sini Pyy, and wheelchair curler Sari Karjalainen.
Wheelchair racer Henry Manni and shot put an javelin thrower Aleksi Kirjonen will also take part in the tour.
