Legacy Plan for People with a Disability Set in the UK
The first ever legacy plan to bring about lasting change to the life experiences of people with a disability has been published today by the Government.

Sir Philip Craven, President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), visited OMEGA’s Paralympic Countdown Clock in downtown Vancouver and the Games Boutique at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on Tuesday.
Whang Youn Dai Achievement Award
Two gold medals weighing 75 grams will be presented at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony to two athletes, a male and a female who best exemplify the spirit of the games. This award is for Paralympians who not only achieve sporting excellence, but also exceptionally inspire and excite the world.
