Bonn/Berlin – The fourth International Paralympic Day (IPD) successfully ended its full-day’s run at the German capital today, with a programme for all ages and distinguished guests, visitors and athletes from all around the world.

Yesterday, on 9 July, athletes and fans came together to celebrate Paralympic Sport in Vancouver, Canada. In the context of the International Paralympic Day 2009, taking place in Berlin, Germany, on 11 July, the event in Canada was held in downtown Vancouver where attendees had a spectacular view of the city’s skyline. The Paralympic Day in Vancouver took place on a rooftop, reflecting the theme “Sport in the Sky”.
