Swimming
Ellen Keane will compete at the 2014 IPC Swimming European Championships, having become a Paralympian even before finishing her exams.
Para dance sport
Russian wheelchair dance couple Maksim Sedakov and Svetlana Kukushina first met through a chance encounter but Sedakov has gone on to dance at the Closing Ceremony of the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.
Athletics
Around 300 para-athletes from 20 countries will compete in 22 medal events across five sports, the most ever.

Team of five will compete in Normandy, France, between 23 August and 7 September
