The London 2012 Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) has appointed Sainsbury’s as its first Paralympic-only sponsor, becoming a Tier One Partner of the London 2012 Paralympic Games. This week, the IPC Academy has successfully completed the delivery of a three-day intensive Team Management Training programme in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The programme, held in Malaysia’s capital from 19 – 21 April, was designed to drive the development of Paralympic and Commonwealth Para-Sport athletes, and increase the number of countries competing in the Commonwealth Games.
