Brazil and Colombia share the spoils in swimming

Brazil and Colombian swimmers shared the spoils on Tuesday (11 August) morning, the fourth day of competition at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games.

Carlos Farrenberg (24.44) won Brazil’s 17th medal in swimming competition this week in the men’s 50m freestyle S13. Silver went to Canada’s Nicolas Turbide (25.98) whilst Brazil’s Guilherme Batista (26.40) claimed the bronze.

After winning gold in Monday’s 50m freestyle S6, Colombia’s Nelson Crispin (1:25.49) doubled his tally of titles with victory in the men’s 100m breaststroke SB6. Silver and bronze went to Fabiano De Toledo (1:30.17) and the USA’s Roderick Sewell (26.40).

This evening’s session will feature 15 medal events.
