Argentina-Brazil to kick off football 5 at Sao Paulo 2017
The super derby will kick start competition at the Youth Parapan American Games will start on 21 March and run until 24 March in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Groups drawn for European Football 5 Qualifier
Hosts Romania will face Georgia, Ireland and Albania in Group A, whilst Greece, Belarus, Moldova and the Czech Republic were drawn in Group B.
Brazil aim to transfer football-5 dominance to youth
The hosts, who have won gold at every Paralympic Games since the sport’s debut in 2004, are hoping to top the podium at the Youth Parapans in Sao Paulo.

Four teams will face-off in football 5 and six will take part in the football 7 event at the fourth Youth Parapan American Games, from 20-25 March.

Sao Paulo 2017: football 5 and football 7 preview
The Youth Parapan American Games will feature around 900 athletes, aged 12-20 years old, from 20 countries competing across 12 sports, from 20-25 March.

Paralympic and world champions Brazil hold first, followed by South American rivals Argentina, China, Spain, Turkey and Iran.

Two major blind football competitions announced
The African Championships will take place in Praia, Cape Verde, from 13-22 October, and Santiago, Chile, will stage the American Championships between 19-27 November.

It will consist of a training camp and a tournament, and will take place in Vienna, Austria, from 3-7 May 2017.

The competition will take place in Berlin, Germany, between 17-27 August.
