The Organising Committee for the 2017 International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) Blind Football European Championships has revealed the broadcasting plans for the continental event, set to take place in Berlin, Germany, from 18-27 August.

Their goal is to make this competition the best ever for the sport in terms of number of people reached. All 27 matches will be streamed live, with two streams being made available – one with English commentary and one in German. The English stream will be available on the Paralympics YouTube channel and Paralympics website.

A minimum of five cameras will be deployed at the venue, bringing all the action to the fans worldwide, including exclusive on-pitch interviews and post-match reactions from the mixed zone.

The Europeans will kick off on 18 August with a game featuring hosts Germany and big rivals Italy in Group A.

Competition schedule can be found on IBSA’s website.
