Two Paralympic champions will be awarded on Day five of the shooting Para sport competition at Paris 2024 on 3 September.
Here you can find the complete schedule and the main stars to follow on day five at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre.
Ones to watch
The day’s action will begin with the R7 - men's 50m rifle 3 positions SH1 final with shooters exhibiting high quality precision, control and stamina.
UAE’s Abdulla Sultan Alaryani, the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic champion and Rio 2016 silver medallist, will be the man to beat in the category.
The veteran Emirati star is likely to be challenged by Slovakia’s Radoslav Malenovsky, a regular in the circuit and the reigning world champion at Lima.
Malenovsky took his first-ever Paralympic medal at Paris 2024, in the R3 - mixed 10m air rifle prone SH1 on Sunday.
Serbia’s Laslo Suranji will be also keen to reclaim the gold medal after his silver at Tokyo 2020.

Zhang favourite
The other final of the day is the R8 - women's 50m rifle 3 position SH1 final where China’s three-time Paralympic champion Cuiping Zhang will be the favourite to take the title.
Zhang had dominated the R8 event since the London 2012 Games and will be in no mood to let go her supremacy in the event.
But Sweden’s Annan Benson is the reigning world champion and will be hoping to win her first Paralympic medal.
Others to watch out for in the category will be Germany’s Natascha Hiltrop, India’s shooting star Avani Lekhara, both of whom completed the podium at Tokyo, and Slovakia's Veronika Vadovicova.
Both Vadovicova and Lekhara have already had the taste of Paris 2024 gold in the R3 and R2, respectively.
