World Para Powerlifting and ZKC extend agreement until 2028

World Para Powerlifting (WPPO) has extended the agreement with Chinese company ZhangKong (ZKC) as Approved Supplier Tier 2 of sports equipment until end of 2028. 

ZKC is specialised in designing and manufacturing weightlifting and Para powerlifting equipment, including benches, bars, weight discs, collars and platforms. It has been an Approved Supplier Tier 2 of World Para Powerlifting since 2020.  

“ZKC has provided an important support to our grassroots and development programmes in countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Oceania. This new agreement will allow us to continue our important More Than Medal programme with the aim of bringing more persons with disabilities to practice the sport,” said Jorge Moreno, Head of World Para Powerlifting. 

Mr. Zhang Zhiguo, General Manager of Zhangkong Company, stated:
