IPC appoints Kyodo News as Recognised News Agency
Japanese agency to create comprehensive coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympics 26 Aug 2024

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) announced on Monday (26 August) that it has appointed Kyodo News as its Recognised News Agency.
Kyodo will have a duty to make comprehensive coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games which opens on 28 August with a focus on Japan's athletes. At the same time the freedom of press and editorial independence will be maintained.
Kyodo served as the Host National News Agency for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
