Yesterday, YBhg Dato’ Zainal Abu Zarin, President of the Malaysian Paralympic Council launched the Torch Mission Relay at the KL Tower in conjunction with the upcoming KL’09 5th Asean Para Games.

In the context of the International Paralympic Day 2009, taking place in Berlin, Germany, on 11 July, the event in Canada was held in downtown Vancouver where attendees had a spectacular view of the city’s skyline. The Paralympic Day in Vancouver took place on a rooftop, reflecting the theme “Sport in the Sky”.
