In the context of the International Paralympic Day 2009, taking place in Berlin, Germany, on 11 July, the event in Canada was held in downtown Vancouver where attendees had a spectacular view of the city’s skyline. The Paralympic Day in Vancouver took place on a rooftop, reflecting the theme “Sport in the Sky”.
