BarBend and World Para Powerlifting sign MoU to reach new audiences

BarBend, the world’s leading strength-based sport media outlet, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to join World Para Powerlifting as a Media Provider.

The agreement announced on Monday (27 July) will see BarBend feature news, analysis, entertainment and opinions for the sport of Para powerlifting across BarBend’s social media channels.  
Paralympic medallists such as Egypt’s Sherif Osman and Indonesia’s Ni Nengah Widiasih have already been featured by the USA-based media outlet in interviews and podcasts. 

Speaking about the agreement, Jorge Moreno, Head of World Para Powerlifting, said: “We look forward to our collaboration with BarBend and the opportunity to further promote our sport to new audiences through highlighting our athletes’ amazing stories and performances.”
