The T11 world record holder, Terezinha Guilhermina, reveals her three favourite songs.
This week’s #MusicMonday comes from Brazil’s queen of the track Terezhina Guilhermina. The three-time Paralympic champion lines up on home soil for the seventh IPC Athletics Grand Prix of 2016 this week (18-21 May) in Rio de Janeiro.
Rio 2016 will be Guilhermina’s fourth Paralympic Games, where she will hope to defend her 100m and 200m T11 titles. “I use these songs to motivate myself and to remember London 2012, when I listened to Coldplay playing live,” she said.
During a glittering career, Guilhermina, who holds the 100m, 200m and 400m T11 world records, has won three Paralympic and eight world titles.
