Paris 2024: 21 powerlifters set to be in action as flagbearers

Para powerlifting action only begins on day seven of the competition at the Paris 2024 Paralympics but 21 athletes will already be in action today as their country's flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony to be held at the foot of the Champs-Elysées and in Place de la Concorde.

180 athletes from 60 nations and a refugee Para athlete will contest in 20 medal events (10 for men and 10 for women) at La Chapelle Arena from 4 to 8 September.
