Standing Hockey World Championships in Canada
The fifth World Championships of the International Standing Amputee Hockey Federation (ISIHF) will be hosted by the Defi Sportif at Aréna Saint-Michel in Montreal, from 27 April to 2 May.
Atos Origin Successfully Completes 2010 Vancouver Winter Paralympics
Atos Origin, the Worldwide Partner of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), delivered flawless IT during the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. Atos Origin designed, integrated, managed and secured the same IT infrastructure for the Paralympic Games that was used at many of the competition venues for the Olympic Winter Games.
Paralympic Order Recipients 2010 Honoured
Vancouver, Canada - The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) honoured the recipients of the 2010 Paralympic Order today as the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games came to a close. This year, the Paralympic Order was given to four people for their commitment to the success of the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver and Whistler.
Fireworks and Congratulations Close Vancouver
Vancouver, Canada - A heart-warming and spectacular Closing Ceremony this evening officially ended the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. Taking place at the Medals Plaza in Whistler, thousands came to watch the show that was a celebration for athletes, officials, volunteers and the people of Canada.
