·Costa Rica has yet to claim a medal at the Paralympic Games.

·The NPC made its debut at the Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games.

·Dax Jaikel claimed Costa Rica's best finish at the London 2012 Paralympic Games as he finished in eighth place in men's time trial C4 in cycling.

·Jaikel also grabbed a 15th place in men's road race C4-5 in London.

·At the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games, Costa Rica bagged two medals, both bronze medals in table tennis. Geovanni Rodriguez Granados in men's Class 3 and Domingo Argüello García in men's Class 6.

·America Movil is the rights holding broadcaster in Costa Rica for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. More information can be found at www.clarosports.com.
